Salary: £25,000 - £32,000
Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham

2nd Line Application Support Analyst required to join a global technology company in Birmingham. The company is currently looking to recruit one more talented person to join their rewarding team and support their bespoke application.

What Will this Role Entail?
You will be providing remote technical support for their bespoke application, initially working within a support desk environment providing remote support to several clients, Recording and resolving application support issues. You can also grow into an implementation position. ** SQL knowledge required. **

Knowledge and Skills Required for the Role:
* Ability to carry out installations and configuration
* Root Cause Analysis
* Vast working knowledge of SQL Server
* Deep knowledge of Windows Servers
* LAN / WAN technologies
* Experience working with and diagnosing issues with mobile device platforms eg Android, iOS and Windows Phone
*Experience working in similar helpdesk and web based application support roles that use SQL is necessary*

Knowledge and Skills that are beneficial however not essential:
* Experience with Social Housing Management applications
* Firewalls / Networking
* VPNs
* Understanding of cloud and virtualisation technologies eg Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare
