Manpower is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer at one of our most prestigious clients - a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer based in Immingham. The Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in delivering a world-class maintenance service to the plant.

As Maintenance Engineer, some of your core tasks and challenges will include;
* Working as part of cross-functional teams to deliver increased efficiency and output through preventative mechanical maintenance projects
* Providing mechanical engineering expertise and technical assistance
* Implementing the preventative maintenance programme across the site
* Working reactively to ensure plant breakdowns are dealt with effectively and efficiently
* Servicing both static and rotating equipment
* Maintaining documents and asset information
* Ensuring plant equipment is operating within strict health and safety and regulatory guidelines
* Identifying efficiency improvement projects for plant equipment

The role of Maintenance Engineer will suit an individual that can build on their existing skills and experience, which should already include;
* Degree educated within Mechanical Engineering
* Some industry experience in a similar role post-University
* Chartered status or the aspiration to achieve it
* Experience of working within an industrial/heavy industry (such as chemicals, petrochemical, oil & gas or steel)
* Previous experience of delivering preventative maintenance work on a manufacturing plant
* Working knowledge of pumps, vessels and pipework
* High level of health and safety awareness
