Job Title - Quality Engineer

Our client is considered to be the "Rolls Royce/Premium" name within their field, supplying excellent quality products and superb levels of services which are simply second to none. This is a full time and permanent role for a Quality Engineer based in Grimsby, you will receive a basic salary of up to £30,000 with an excellent benefits package and unrivalled career prospects.

The Person

You, being a successful Quality Engineer will provide solid QA support to all business functions, particularly Technical, Purchasing and Operations. You will be able to both lead and facilitate problem solving activities and support the implantation of improvements arising from them. You will support the business in ensuring that it maintains its external certifications the CBS Lead in training the business in problem solving tools and techniques.

You should be confident in your ability with a flexible and adaptable attitude to work, you will strive with your colleagues in the team to provide the maximum availability and efficiency of our clients equipment in a manufacturing environment. All Quality Engineers in the team have a flexible approach to working patterns.

You will have;-

* A minimum 2 years QA experience within a manufacturing or design environment at QA
* Lead/facilitated problem solving activities for a minimum of 2 years
* An understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 or equivalent standard
* Worked successfully with cross functional teams at all levels of an organisation
* Extensive knowledge of leading problem solving tools such as 8D, A3 Reporting, FMEA, Fishbone etc
* A good understanding of Quality, Environmental and H&S Systems

The Role

You will establish key partnerships with both suppliers and customers and work with them to determine and implement effective corrective and preventative actions. You will Lead problem solving and improvement activities in line with the requirements of the business ensuring that all actions have been successfully implemented, performing internal systems audits as part of the Internal Audit Team (Quality, Environmental, H&S).

You will establish and maintain the companies calibrations system in SAP ensuring that everything remains within calibration, maintaining systems for the effective and efficient control of all standards and specifications (International, national, customer) used on the Company.
