Our client is a beautiful Hotel in Dorking, Surrey and the winner of best Restaurant in the 2016 Surrey Food and Drink Awards. They are currently looking for a chef de Partie to join their team and work alongside the hotels current senior staff as they go into a new concept change and exciting developments in 2017.

As the Chef de Partie you will work within this 2 rosette awarded kitchen for a reputable Hotel in Dorking, this will involve the restaurant, bar, afternoon teas and C & B.

The restaurant is currently looking to retain their awards however change to more of a gastro style of food allowing a better work life balance for the chefs in the team. There may be times when they have to cross over and cover the banqueting side of the kitchen and

The Chef de Partie role will involve:
-overseeing all of the main kitchen sections as well as pastry
-working with the Head chef on menu planning and developing ideas for the retail outlets.They have a 2 rosette restaurant serving modern British food currently, a busy bar with a good lunch time trade of sandwiches and bar food, as well as an Afternoon tea trade that is growing and growing.

The right Chef de Partie will:
-have Hotel experience
-have previous experience at demi/chef de partie level working with fresh food to a high standard
-be a strong leader that wants to push and grow the restaurant.
-be a team player
-understand that the restaurant is not the only focus and that the other food outlets are a large part of the business and without one the other cannot operate, they will also be aware that the Banqueting operation is a huge support to the costs in the restaurant so it to is a huge part of the kitchens operation.
