Reed Education Hammersmith are currently working with a terrific school on an exciting new role in the Brent area. Starting the September, the school are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Gujarati on a permanent basis!

The Role:

• You will be required to assist and support the teacher both in and out of the classroom.
• To meet regularly with the relevant members of staff to discuss students who need monitoring and intervention.
• To work with students within the classroom and to work towards short term and long term goals.
• To maintain full records on students being mentored and to provide regular written reports on students to appropriate staff.
• Support students to help them reach their full potential.

The Person:

• The successful candidate must be able to speak, read and write Gujarati & English fluently.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills to at least the level of GCSE in English and Maths.
• Ability to find solutions to problems and motivate students.
• You must have robust organisational and problem-solving skills and be self-motivated.
• The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• You must have the ability to manage relationship both with staff and students.
• You will be required to have previous teaching assistant experience.
