Account Manager - Business Development - Business Intelligence / CRM - London

Our client is a market leader in the provision of business information and research.

Account Managers are responsible for representing, understanding and forfilling their clients needs. This requires focusing on supporting and renewing client's contracts to subscription based publications/databases as well as providing product training to high-profile global clients.
We are ideally seeking a confident retentions professional with prior account management experience in selling directly to senior level management, as well as a proven track record of successful B2B sales/retentions sales.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

Achieving renewal targets from existing clients, maintaining relationships, training clients, establishing the value of our services, upselling and renewing contracts.
Managing and developing your revenue stream through established business
Developing your understanding of our products, our competitors and clients to enable maximised sales and revenue generation.

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

·Previous experience in B2B sales/desire to enter into B2B sales
·Consultative B2B sales/retentions/account management experience would be an advantage
·Proven success in a sales/retentions role dealing with senior management in multi-national companies would be an advantage
·Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
·Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
·The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximise product potential
