Director of Healthcare Partnerships
I Am Recruiting for a Director of Healthcare Partnerships to build and enhance the partnerships that this prestigious university has with local, regional and national healthcare provider organisations. This is an exciting, senior role within a well-respected university, and one which carries an important remit for the university.
There are several key aspects to this role, not the least of which is to identify opportunities and the feasibility of new business including local, national and international developments (both NHS and non-NHS) for the university. Another key aspect of the role is to ensure high quality provision of the programmes within the partnerships, (by working closely with the Director of Learning and Teaching and the Academic Quality unit)
A third aspect of the role is the overall responsibility for practice-based learning within healthcare programmes, ensuring the quality of placements, that regulatory and statutory quality requirements are met, and that the university continues to produce high-level, quality graduates and excellent programme feedback.
Further responsibilities include developing strategies for establishing and enhancing partnership working with health and social care providers to secure best possible undergraduate/postgraduate education for healthcare practice, liaising with the marketing and recruitment manager to maximise recruitment to healthcare programmes, supporting relationship development both within the Faculty and externally, negotiating and managing CPD/healthcare contracts and agreements, agreeing recruitment targets / reviewing MOUs and providing leadership in the healthcare directorate.
