Are you looking for your next step in your career working as a Support Assistant? We, BS Social Care, are recruiting for dedicated and passionate Adult Support Assistants to work on a regular basis supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, eplilepsy, cerebal palsy and physical disabilities.

You will be working for a company that specialises in providing a safe community environment where people with and without learning disabilities can go to share life together.

You will be responsible for supporting and assisting other staff members with supporting adults with various disabilities. There will be no lone working, duties could include prompting with personal care and moving and handling.

Suitable candidates must have a good understanding of epilepsy and be trained in moving & handling, whilst ideal candidates might also be medication trained. You will have 1 year's recent experience of working in a similar setting, with a good understanding of supporting people with learning disabilities, epilepsy and challenging behaviour or at least 6 months experience with a relevant qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). Enhanced DBS on the update service is preferably. Our clients are looking for workers who are flexible to work regularly and various shifts including days and nights.
