This leading contractor are looking to strengthen their Commercial team with a Managing Quantity Surveyor working within a highly successful Joint Venture.

You will deliver a range of schemes with individual projects involving the design and construction of improvements to existing infrastructure. Individual projects within the programme will range in value from £250,000 up to £20 million! The work content is both heavy civil engineering and mechanical and electrical activities.

DUTIES;

* Developing the commercial plan

* Providing detailed record and valuation of work

* Measurement and valuation of subcontractors work for payment and Final Account purposes.

* Agreement of subcontract valuations

* Full understanding contractual requirements

* Preparation of claim documentation

* CVRs

* Performance reporting

* Managing a team of Quantity Surveyors

IDEAL CANDIDATE;

* BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject
* NEC3 or other target cost contract experience
* Experience in a similar role
* Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team
* A proven track record of managing finances and budgets
