An Exciting oppotunity, to plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of services offered to major accounts in accordance with agreed business plans.

In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Direct ownership of sales and growth strategy both for Division and Branch
Responsibility for generating profitable growth across multiple business sectors
Negotiating tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs
Offering after-sales support services
Analysing costs and sales
Preparing reports for Senior Management
Coordinating sales projects, and supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other relevant industry events
Making technical presentations to illustrate effective meeting of client requirements
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Liaising with technical staff

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

A solid technical background in mechanical/Electrical engineering.
Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical processes (HVOF, Plasma, CNC, Heavy Machining, Welding Electric Motor overhaul and Rewind.
Demonstrable commercial awareness and market knowledge.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidate must have completed a formal apprenticeship or training scheme in mechanical/Electrical engineering.
Will have a formal nationally recognised qualification.
Good standard of secondary level education

RELATED EXPERIENCE

The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Resilience and tenacity
A valid driving licence is required
Must be security cleared.
Experience of selling in industry relevant to the position
Ability to deal with customers effectively and promote strong company image
