A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Sales Support Specialist to join a dedicated and hardworking sales team for one of our esteemed Basingstoke clients. Working closely with the account managers and customers you will be the first point of call for all sales enquiries as well as bids and tenders. The ideal candidate will have previous sales support experience, be a team player and have the desire to progress and succeed.

Key responsibilities:

* Working with the sales team and designated account managers as an internal sales resource
* Acting as the customer relationship manager- to be a point of contact for customer liaison and a trusted advisor to designated customers
* Act as the first point of call for all sales queries, qualify and assign inbound sales calls and leads
* Own and manage CRM updates- including running reports and to set up dashboards for the sales team and managers
* Coordinate sales documentation, including quotations, proposals, estimated summaries and bid response
* Develop a full understanding of the company's vendor solutions
* Work closely with vendors to generate new opportunities
* Participate in all marketing campaigns

The ideal candidate:

* MUST have previous experience of an internal sales/client facing role
* MUST have experience of using a CRM application or sales forecasting tool
* Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent written and verbal skills, along with a professional and polite telephone manner
* Will have an excellent customer service ethos
* Desire to progress and excel in the company
* Flexible and happy to travel if required

In return, you will receive a healthy salary of up to £22,000 depending on experience. Including an excellent benefits package of: 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), 5% pension, Private Medical Insurance, ½ gym membership, Share Save Scheme (after 6 months) and free fruit in the office!
