Sous Chef - Full time
Villager in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town is now looking for an experienced Sous chef to join our current Kitchen team.
Attraction Inns took ownership of the Villager at the end of April 2017 and have exciting plans for the venue over the next 12 months.
- Running the kitchen when the head chef is away
- Ensuring your team meets the high standards expected by the company
- Managing food and purchasing and storage
- Maintaining a safe hygienic kitchen environment
- Helping to create new recipes
40-45 hours per week
£8.50 per hour starting remuneration
- Ability to stay calm when the pressure mounts
- Strong leadership skills to motivate your team
- First rate culinary skills
- Health and Safety and food hygiene certificates
- High standards
- 6 months experience in a similar role
