Premier Pathways Salaried Teacher Training Programme

Do you want to start teacher training but are unsure of what routes are available to you?

Introducing Premier Pathways, the newest and fastest growing bespoke teacher training programme in the UK, run by the Outstanding University of Buckingham!

Premier Pathways supports able graduates with a desire to become teachers through a structured 2-year programme which enables you to make sustained progress and gradually hone your teaching skills. At the end of the programme you will be awarded a PGCE with QTS!

By initially working in a support based / academic mentor capacity for the first and second term of the programme you will learn to manage your workload and discover the basics of teaching through the support of an expert in-school mentor before you start planning and preparing your own classes to teach!

Premier Pathways is the only teacher training model which sees you work in a school for the entire length of the PGCE qualification making you more equipped and giving you more school based experience than any other route into teaching!

What’s more the programme is salaried and guarantees you a teaching position in your training school upon graduation!

• £15,000 pa training salary
• 2-year school-based teacher training programme
• Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE from the University of Buckingham
• Dedicated participant support team and in-school mentoring
• Regular peer networking opportunities

We are looking for graduates with a strong academic background and a clear mindset that a career in teaching is exactly what they want to do! Opportunities are available to degree holders in English, Maths and Science and also Humanities based subjects such as Geography and History with a view to training as a subject teacher. Positions are available across Good and Outstanding Secondary schools based in Central East London, so what are you waiting for!
