A gorgeous central London based restaurant is looking for a sous chef/ junior head chef to run their kitchen. The 5 chef team caters to 50-80 covers a day. This means that the role is perfect for a first time head chef looking to take on their kitchen.
Working alongside a strong front of house team this chef role needs a foodie chef who loves being creative and hands on in their job. This role has a lot of scope for freedom in terms of how you run the kitchen, the menus and the customers experience. The kitchen is small so requires an organised and clean working chef.
As head chef all kitchen management falls into your responsibility. This includes health and hygiene, staff recruitment and training, supplier relationships and liaising with front of house teams.
The salary for this role is made up of a basic of £30,000 with bonus and an allocation of tronc.
