A Sous Chef role is available at a multi-AA Rosette hotel located in Inverness-shire
The Head Chef of a luxury hotel that has won a number of awards for the high quality dining available at the property is seeking a Sous Chef. This role will mainly focus on the 80 cover Brasserie restaurant although you will be require to help prepare dishes for the small fine dining restaurant when required to do so. There is also a small number of weddings and corporate events that take at the property with all of the menus offering Scottish influenced dishes with the kitchen given the opportunity to experiment with new ideas. As Sous Chef you will assisting the Head Chef with the management of the kitchen that serves all outlets as well as the team of seven chefs in place in the kitchen including running the department in their absence ensuring the high standards are maintained.
The role needs an experienced Sous Chef who has experience working in multi-AA Rosette fine dining establishments but is also used to preparing Brasserie style dishes. All chefs applying should be strong team leaders who are capable of running the kitchen when required.
