Our client is a rapidly expanding building material manufacturer. Based in the the UK they have experienced incredible growth over the last 3 years and this is set to continue with the need for an established account manager.

Selling entirely through distributors, this is an opportunity for the right Area Sales Manager to make a name for themselves with realistic leadership opportunities as the growth is set to continue


Main Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager

  • Maintaining and increasing sales of company's products
  • Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding the respective customer base
  • Servicing the needs of the existing customers
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research


Required Skills of the Area sSles Manager

  • Socially adept
  • Good numerically
  • Strong communication and IT fluency
  • Knowledge of the Timber industry/building materials is preferable
  • Ability to handle pressure and to meet deadlines & targets
  • Attention to detail
  • Good business acumen
  • Excellent time management and organisation
  • Willing to travel and stay away
  • Manage their own diary
  • Able to work as a team and individually

Job Offer

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £42,000 + Commission + Company Car + 25 days holiday + Premier Inn business card
