Our client, a well-regarded Independent Preparatory School in London, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Teacher of Music to join their successful and thriving school.
The school is an established relatively small Prep Day School in trendy London which caters for children between the ages of 2 and 11 and prepares them for entry into the country's leading senior schools. The school has an excellent reputation for placing pupils into the right follow-on schools and has been commended for successfully producing well rounded, academic and happy students. The school has received the highest award at inspection and continues to be a leading school in a competitive area of London. Class sizes are small and children are engaged and hardworking.
A Teacher of Music is required to lead the musical provision across this vibrant and forward-thinking school. Music is an integral part of the school's makeup and almost all pupils are voluntarily involved in some aspect of the extracurricular music programme as well as the compulsory classroom learning. A dedicated and experienced music teacher will be needed to continue the excellent provision.
Salary will be determined on the schools own generous scale and will be commensurate with skill set and experience.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a passion for working with young people and will already have experience teaching primary aged children of varying abilities. Candidates should have a good degree in a relevant field of study and be an outstanding practitioner who is eager to add value to the school community.
