Care Assistant – £8.56/hr – Frodsham – Permanent Days or Nights

You will be working for a charitable organisation who put the needs of the 70 residents and its staff first, this home is rated at Good by the CQC (2016), whose person-centred approach to care relies on the dedication and passion of our employees, who we expect to go the extra mile to improve the home experience and generate a relaxed and informal community within our homes.

We have the following contracts available –

• 3 x Care assistant - DAYS 39 hrs - £8.56 per hour (Full Time hours on days you will be working on a two week rota, 39 hours a week, which involves every other weekend being worked. Day Shifts are typically 8am-8pm.)
• 3 x Care assistant - NIGHTS 22, 33 or 44hrs - £8.56 per hour (2, 3 or 4shifts a week, typically 8pm-8am. which involves every other weekend being worked)

Key Responsibilities
• To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.
• To act as a key worker for a named group of residents, ensuring that these responsibilities are carried out in full (as defined in the training manual).
• To ensure that the Care Home values of trust, respect and care are always maintained and that each team member treats residents in the way that they would expect to be treated themselves.

Person specification
• One Year minimum experience of working in a social care environment
• Ideally have a NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, QCF or equivalent.
• Supervisory/leadership skills, and a willingness to develop new skills
