Job Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The Company

The Person

The Successful Maintenance Engineer - (Electrical Engineering bias) can have industry experience in any high volume production environment such as Food, Manufacturing, FMCG, Automotive, Pharmaceutical etc. To compliment your industry experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) you will ideally be a time served Engineer and have similar experience working within an Engineering Job / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, educated to one of the following ONC, HNC, HND or Degree in a relevant subject

You should be confident in your ability with a flexible and adaptable attitude to work, you will strive with your colleagues in the Maintenance Engineering team to provide the maximum availability and efficiency of our clients equipment in a manufacturing environment. All Maintenance Engineers in the team have a flexible approach to working patterns in this 24/7 operation.

The Role

Problem solving is of course at the heart of the role as a Maintenance Engineer and you will be required to repair and maintain a wide variety of switchgear, controls, inverters, instrumentation equipment. It would be helpful if you had some experience of a similar industry but our client is willing to consider other industry experience. You will need to be comfortable with the principles of continuous improvement as our client strives towards being a LEAN enterprise. The highest standards of workmanship and attitude are expected at all times combined with a true commitment to safety and zero accidents.
