Do you have a track record of working on large projects? Have you managed large shell and core packages? Are you seeking a maximum salary of £100,000 and can get to Central London please read on?

My client are a Developer and Contractor that currently have a huge project with a build value at £400 million where they have a requirement for a Project Manager to be in charge of the Shell and Core package. The project consists of 2 towers, a 26 storey residential block and a 21 storey commercial block. The project is due to start piling in the next month so they are looking for this person to ideally start in the next 6 weeks.

The company are internationally recognised, have a huge pipeline for at least the next 10 years and generally work on projects valued over £200 million in London. Currently they have 6 live projects with 2 more due to start in the next 2 months.

This Project Manager position will report into the Project Director but will have full autonomy with regarding to the shell and core package. They will have an input into the supply chain and the programme.

Other duties will include:

* Full Health & Safety Control and Set Up on Site

* Managing the Sub-contractors

* Appointing the project team

* Managing Site Managers and Engineers

* Programming the shell & core works

* Weekly reporting into the Project Director

* Delivering the project on time and to budget

The ideal candidate will have worked on similar sized projects previously and managed large shell and core packages for a main contractor, developer or sub-contractor. In my opinion this is an ideal opportunity for somebody from a sub-contractor who is looking to get into working for a main contractor or somebody looking to get paid more money.
