A number of Project Managers are sought for a newly created PMO function for a leading private healthcare provider in Central London.

The Project Manager will be expected to manage individual projects, or projects which form a wider programme in a permanent capacity.

My client is a leading Private Healthcare company


The Project Manager will

- Run the project on a day to day basis, reporting to the Project Director

- Establish, lead and co ordinate internal resources and third parties towards the successful delivery of projects

- Ensure that contracts and negotiations are always aimed towards providing good value and commercial viability in terms of safety, control, care and performance

- Be reponsible for a project that producing a result that is geared towards delivering the beneifts as outlined in the Business Case

- Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of progress to the Board and also stake holders

- Be responsible for the project P&L - monitor project costs, time scales and resources needed

- Be responsible for managing the quality of delivery, and implement the quality management plan to ensure that service and care is being delivered despite potential constraints or issues

- Identify, manage and mitigate risks that arise

- Manage change control as required

- Prepare and be responsible for the accuracy and accessibility of all documentation relating to the projects and ensuring that communication with sponsors and stake holders is maintained

- Use the business's project methodology and ensure that all people resource is following appropriate guide lines and procedures

- Ensure that all projects fall under and follow healthcare regulations as appropriate

- Project Managers will be expected to follow and manage the full life cycle of the project


About the candidate

- Will have a Project Management qualification eg. Prince2

- Will have experience of delivering projects in a regulated environment and can demonstrate working in such an environment

- Will have experience working as a team and also autonomously

- Will have experience working in a PMO

- Will have experience in a healthcare/pharma/care sector

- P&L management of projects and being able to deliver to a very high quality

- Able to travel to the various sites and hospitals but will be predominantly London based
