Our exciting Cambridge based client is looking for a clerical/admin assistant on a temporary, full-time basis.

Our public sector client offers a great working environment with the role being Monday to Friday 36 hours per week.

The Research Contracts Assistant will be required to assist the Research Office, and in particular the Research Contracts Coordinator, and the Project Office with the unit transfer process and other administration tasks, which include:

- Providing assistance to the Research Contracts Coordinator with initiating and coordinating the processes.

- Coordinating responses and follow-ups, arranging for signatures etc.

- Setting up electronic files for each novation

- Filing of all correspondence

- Filing and/or uploading of agreements into relevant database(s)

- Assisting the unit transfer project office and the research office with other administration tasks as required

- Other office duties which reflect the workload of the Research Contracts Coordinator

- Assists the Research Contracts Coordinator, Senior Contracts Manager and Project Management Office

You will be required to have previous administrative experience in a busy office environment, meticulous in record keeping and experience in data entry. You must be presentable, confident and professional in approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the use of basic IT packages including Word, Excel, email and on-line ordering. You will also have great attention to detail and the ability to make decisions within guidelines with the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively.

The Pay Rate is £8.86 per hour. Benefits include holiday entitlement and a pension scheme is available.
