A rare opportunity to work for a multinational computer technology company based in Bracknell, with excellent potential for future career growth. We are looking for talented and committed 2nd Line Infrastructure Support Engineers to join an expanding service-orientated IT Support team.  

Handling wide-ranging IT requests across the business, you will have the following responsibilities: 

• Providing support to the business by ensuring that all desktop devices are working correctly.
• Providing hardware support for all aspects including laptops, printers & phones systems.
• Working within a Group Policy environment using Active Directory (Windows 2012 R2)
• Escalating and problems where necessary to management.
• Retaining ownership of incidents and monitoring until satisfactory resolution is achieved.
• Utilising a ticketing system to manage and prioritise issues and queries.
• Building new desktop devices as and when required.
• Networking troubleshooting (Routers, Switches, Datacentres)
• Providing Telephony Support on Nortel or Cisco systems.
 
We are looking for experienced and confident Support Engineers, with broad-ranging exposure to different technologies. Specific skills required include:
 
• Experience working within a 2nd Line WinTel support role.
• Microsoft Server 2012 R2, MS Exchange, Active Directory (Group Policy)
• Building new desktops & laptops as required.
• TCP/IP Networking covering LAN/WAN, Routers & Switches and Datacentres
• Replacing office hardware products 
• Experience supporting Telephony Systems (Nortel or Cisco)

The salary on offer is between £30k and £35k, depending on the applicant's technical and client-facing skills and there are the normal benefits and prospects associated with joining a large Company.
