We are currently assisting a well-respected London Market Insurance Broker recruit an experienced Application Support Analyst. This role will be based in the very busy office based in the city.

Your main responsibility will be to act as first line and assist with second line support for Business Application service desk items raised by business users. Experience of Eclipse Broking package supplied is essential, however experience of in-house and external business applications and external systems would be beneficial.

You will be tasked with:

Providing high levels of in-house support for Business Applications, ensuring all internal customers are satisfied.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal business users, other BA team members, and external suppliers.
Ensuring all BA service desk items are classified and recorded with correct information in relation to the type issue/request and next steps. - whilst working to solve all issues swiftly and effectively
Escalating BA service desk issues and requests, following a defined process.

To be considered for this role your CV must show the following:

Experience working within an IT function
Experience of using Helpdesk Systems
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple calls
Insurance experience would be an advantage but is not essential
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
Knowledge of Macros/VBA would be an advantage
Knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
Problem solving & troubleshooting
Communication and presentation
Ability to work under pressure
