A leading international and specialist insurance company in London is currently recruiting for a Junior Catastrophe Risk Analyst to provide data cleansing support within the exposure management and catastrophe modelling team for all classes of business.

Essential Job Functions

Perform the data cleansing and importation of prospective accounts and risks for the underwriters; pre-risking.
Perform the data cleansing and importation of current bound accounts; weekly portfolio analysis.
Perform data input into any other exposure management systems as required.
Perform data checks on broker account submissions.
Perform validation checks on the accounts cleansed.
Data management in AIR, including the preparation for import into AIR
Provide feedback on data quality, liaising with brokers when requested to ensure a high data quality is achieved.
Demonstrate appropriate, consistent and complete consideration of our customers and potential customers' interests, throughout our business, on a continuous basis'

Qualifications and Experience:

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Graduate (1st or 2:1) in a numerate discipline (Ideally Geographical/Environmental)
Prior experience in the insurance market is preferable
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
