The role is responsible for all physical and technical security aspects at Hams Hall as well as point the main point of contact for any crisis management situations.

Operate as the designated security focal point at the UK north region production facility, and other sites across the UK North region, supporting the senior management in security and protective services related functions, inclusive of managing the site security staff (internal) on a day to day basis.

*Lead in providing expert advice to senior management and in the promotion of security and crisis management services, ensuring compliance and best practice in setting and maintaining related standards and procedures.

*Act as local focal point for security supplier contract management, maintenance and achievements of set objectives and KPIs to facilitate cost effective and efficient solutions to the business.

*Monitor and implement company group crisis requirements, and ensure consistency and coordination in regional approach.
Provide related advice, support and regular crisis training for crisis management teams & other stakeholders across the EMEA market operations area.

*In conjunction with group corporate security, direct the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that these remain compliant to all relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines.

The successful candidate will also be deployed as required to Pineham ( Northampton) and Thorne (Doncaster) for the same duties.

Ideally the successful candidate will have the following;
- Technical experience, knowledge and formal training in crisis management
- Professional security experience + training as well as operational experience
- Able to manage a small team (2 members) as well as the ability to steer the in house security provider + fire protection teams

The candidates must be flexible with hours and days (some weekends as necessary).

Qualifications and Experience

Job holder must demonstrate a higher level of technical knowledge in the crisis management and security disciplines and hold recognised qualifications in any / all of the related areas, or be able demonstrable significant relevant competence and experience.
*Minimum of 5 year's crisis management and security related experience or equivalent experience in law enforcement or strategic security risk management.
*Experience working in crisis management and security services at a large multinational company serving diverse regional markets - Automotive / Manufacturing sector preferred.
*Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the crisis management cycle, BCP and security strategies with additional experience in the delivery of structured training programmes for senior managers.
*Strong working knowledge of applicable laws and have developed networks within the law enforcement, security and crisis management community.
*Strong management, negotiation, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.
Related qualifications & experience will be advantageous:
*Familiar with British Standards Institute PAS 200:2011, Crisis Management Standard.
*Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
*Physical Security Professional (PSP)
