A Behaviour Mentor is a tailored intervention role that benefits the schools we work with. It has been designed to help pupils reach their full potential as students are likely to attend a Pupil Referral Unit, SEBD School or an Alternative Provision/Charity. As a behaviour mentor, your role will be helping challenging students overcome their behavioural issues, whilst acting as a role model and someone to look up to.

A Behaviour Mentor works on a full-time basis supporting student’s behaviour and learning inside and outside of the class, this is primarily a class based position however it’s very likely you will end up doing 1:1 withdrawal sessions at some stage in order to maintain the progress of student’s behaviour and learning.

These inspirational SEBD / SEMH schools can offer the successful Behaviour Mentor;

• A great chance for career progression and the chance to get some experience before doing a PGCE

• The opportunity to be an inspirational role model and mentor to a disadvantaged young person.

• Continuing professional development courses such as Team Teach, Child Protection + more.

This is the perfect opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to gain that vital school experience. Do not miss out on this Behaviour Mentor position in London and apply today! Click 'Apply Now' and send your CV and covering letter to Michal Chajtowicz at EduStaff.

EduStaff SEN is NOT A SUPPLY AGENCY, and 100% of the Behaviour Mentor positions we recruit for are long term or permanent. You do not need to have school based experience, but as a Behaviour Mentor being able to think on your feet whilst dealing with challenging situations is essential.

Please note: due to the volume of Graduate Behaviour Mentor applications, only successful Graduate Behaviour Mentor applicants will be contacted.
