TeamJobs are looking for an Estimator/Supply Chain Professional ideally with strong electronic manufacturing knowledge to work at this successful and growing electronics company based in Weymouth.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £33,000 per annum, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, free parking, annual bonus scheme, salary sacrifice scheme and more.

Job Overview:
Reporting to the Estimating and Configuration Manager, you will serve a vital function in the growth of the company. You will be responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with electronic manufacturing using good supplier relationships, on line sourcing and raising times through discussions with the Engineering function.

You will be expected to:
*Carryout initial bid assessments for suitability.
*Achieve a 5 day turnaround for re-quote activity
*Attend weekly bid review meetings
*Liaise with all functions within the business
*Provide key stakeholders with an early view of cost drivers
*Review potential obsolescence
*Produce detailed accurate estimates
*Help in the Training and mentoring of new and existing team members

Ideal Candidate would have:
*Experience of working in safety critical environments to demanding standards such as AS9100 & NADCAP
*Experience of traceability requirements in the mil-aerospace environment.
*Progressive track record within an Electronic Manufacturing environment.
*Good communication skills.
*Good numeracy skills.
*Being able to work within a team.
*Strong analytical skills.
*Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of software including MRP, and online sourcing tools.
*Proactive attitude.
*High attention to detail.
*Handling large files with confidential data.
*Excellent and demonstrable knowledge of interpreting electronic and mechanical design data. Ability to review product documentation and identify errors, omissions and improvements.
*Meticulous, self-starter working under own initiative.
*Recognise importance of supporting and sharing knowledge with the team
