One of our mixed, comprehensive secondary schools, a specialist music school in North London, are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Science Teacher to fill a permanent position they’ve had come available for September 2017. The school is based in the borough of Islington and has great transport connections, as well as a new vision for the next academic year.
This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced teacher to join a passionate Science department who aim to provide a positive learning experience for their students, as well as a positive working experience for their teachers. The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Science teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS).
- Demonstrate two years' recent experience as a Science teacher.
- Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.
