Temps are recruiting for an Inventory Manager on behalf of a well established company that deals with creating inspirational communications that ensure that brands achieve their ambitions.

This is a multi-award winning company and it is very fast paced and they deal with a range of sectors including retail, banking and finance, public, hospitality and travel, automotive and pharma.

The day to day role will include:
Managing the day to day stock.

Managing the overall inventory and reporting of any discrepancies or issues directly to Logistics / Operations Account Manager.

Working closely with the warehouse team to effectively manage multiple supplier deliveries

Making recommendations to improve efficiencies and streamline processes including inventory control procedures.

Liaising with the Warehouse team and Samples Account Manager to highlight issues or discrepancies on stock deliveries and returns after activity.

Collating daily/weekly delivered stock sheets to send to the client.

Accountable for weekly/monthly checks of all stock in the warehouse to ensure the inventory is 100% correct at all times.

Working on current systems to allocate the weekly ambient food samples that will need to be packed by the warehouse team.

Explore stock projections in order to anticipate any stock shortages before they become an issue.

Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory

Identify key range lines that always need to be in stock and can be used for any activity.

Understand the amount of stock needed vs additional available stock, and be able to communicate this to the office at a moment’s notice if plans need to be amended

Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff.

Skills and experience needed:

Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position within a Warehouse environment.

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.

Attention to detail and ability to deliver stock quantities accurately within challenging timescales.

IT and Mac proficiency including excellent Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or Keynote.

Exceptional organisational, work prioritisation, planning and time management skills.

Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills (written and verbal).

Can-do attitude with a willingness to take on responsibility.

A real team player who’s self-motivated and able to work under pressure and at pace.

Ability to develop a strong working relationship with all divisions within the company
