Accounts Manager required

St Mellons area

Salary of £26,000 to £32,000 per annum

Reporting into the FD of this profitable and stable business, the main responsibility of the role will be to oversee the day to day running of the accounts team. This role will ideally suit a self starter who is hands on and wants to be an integral part of a small team.

Main duties to include -

  • Production of final accounts
  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Profit & Loss & Balance Sheet
  • Oversee the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Oversee all payments and receipts
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Prepare data for outsourced monthly payroll
  • VAT reporting and submission
  • Oversee commission payments
  • Present and review monthly figures
  • Fixed Asset register
  • Analysis of monthly credit card use, fuel usage
  • Deal with and renew company mobile phone package
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • Assist FD with annual budget
  • Liaise with insurance brokers
  • Review credit checking facility
  • Manage petty cash
  • Manage fleet cars, fuel card and services
  • Line management of staff
  • Ad hoc reporting duties

Previous use of Sage Line 50 is required for this role.
