Salary: £40,000.00 + package and benefits

Scope of the role
Our client, a leading homelessness charity in the UK is currently seeking to appoint a Repairs Manager. This position has been created to lead and deliver a high quality, efficient and cost effective repairs service to this organisation's supported and general needs accommodation to ensure it meets the needs of their service users.
You will provide expertise, support and guidance to a team of 5 Property Officers and Maintenance Officers and support the Head of Property Management in translating this charity's strategy successfully into practice and tangible results throughout the organisation.
To be considered you will possess the following experience
Experience of leading and managing housing and sheltered accommodation reactive repairs and void maintenance services and association contractors.
Experience of developing effective working relationships with responsive repairs contractors and utilising performance information to set and monitor targets.
Experience of ensuring that costs are managed, value for money is secured on all relevant expenditure and agreed budgets are adhered to.
Experience of using MS Office and housing management or in house databases.
Experience of managing staff and using performance management to support and develop individuals.
Experience of working in customer focused environment.
Experience of working in a repairs and maintenance function for a registered housing, hostel or accommodation provider, possibly as a technical inspector or senior surveyor.
