An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events & Sales Coordinator to join a large, prestigious 4 star hotel on a Full time, Fixed term contract. The role is to start ASAP and initially on-going until March 2018 although this may be extended due to work load.

This great opportunity, working for a recognised British hotel brand, will involve securing sales for various events across the resort from weddings, group golf trips, parties and conference events. You will work closely with the various departments within the hotel to ensure all clients have their requirements met and to ensure customer service at all times.

The role includes:
Dealing with incoming enquiries from customers regarding all types of events including weddings, party hire, golf events, corporate events etc.
Creating food, drink and hire packages bespoke to customer requests
liaising with all internal departments to ensure the customer needs are met and exceeded where possible
Reporting into the events and sales manager
Ensuring customers receive a first class level of service
keeping detailed records of all enquiries and all quotes sent

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, exceptional organisational skills and commitment to delivering a first class service to customers.
