Systems Administrator - Software support
Systems Administrator required to work for a finance company based near Farnham.
The primary role of the System Administrator is to ensure the day-to-day administration and management of our clients loan management and CRM system.
This will involve acting as the key point of contact for internal queries, ensuring both new development and the ongoing maintenance of the system. The role will also include acting as first-line support, providing bug fixes where possible, creating bespoke reports, writing specifications for new development requests and providing general training and administration support to both staff and managers.
Additionally, the role will act as primary liaison with the external software provider, escalating issues where necessary and project managing any new development requirements.
This role would suit an individual who has prior involvement in administering a loan management or CRM system, in addition to any experience of working in a support helpdesk or first line support environment. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; an individual who has the ability to understand business needs and provide efficient solutions. As part of a small team, we need someone who can work equally well alone or in a team and has the ability to self-motivate.
It would be highly beneficial if the successful applicant was proficient in the use of SQL Reporting or Crystal Reporting and any experience of HTML or CSS would be advantageous.
The role will also have a general operational element so would include general support to other departments where necessary.
Our client is offering a competitive basic salary of £24,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
20 days holiday, increasing by 1 day per year to a maximum of 25 days
