Customer Services Representative
Our client is a well-established leader in the Foreign Exchange (FX) world with over 30 years’ success across the world. Following phenomenal growth in the last few years, this client is now looking for the next generation of Customer Service Representatives to join their thriving team.
As the first point of contact for private clients, it will be your responsibility to provide excellent service by ensuring any issues are ironed out, payments happen on time and clients are left with a great impression of the company. You’ll do this through a mixture of inbound and outbound calls, administration and complaint handling.
Once you have proven yourself a success in this role, a range of great opportunities will open up to you such as sales or dealing roles.
It’s your attributes that matter more than your experience though some experience of customer service is required. Excellent communication skills are a must as you’ll be in contact with clients over the telephone and email. As you’ll be dealing with people from all over the world, fluency in French, Spanish, Portuguese or Polish would be a real plus.
Personality wise, you’ll be hungry to be successful, enthusiastic and hard working. As full training will be provided, you should also be a quick and willing learner. The starting salary for this role is £18,000 and with commission, your first year earnings are likely to be £21,000. In addition, there are several employee benefits available, such as BUPA membership, £2,000 pa staff currency allowance and a pension scheme with company contributions to match yours. The training programme you’ll receive should also be seen as a significant addition to your overall package. It could well be the most valuable part!
