The Education Network is pleased to offer an exciting permanent English teaching post to start in September 2017. Our client is a large secondary school on the outskirts of Oldham with some challenging behaviour which benefits from an excellent pastoral and support system. The successful candidate will be expected to raise student achievement through high quality teaching and learning within an atmosphere where students feel challenged, valued, safe and secure. The school is looking for an experienced English teacher with a welcoming approach to join their team in this permanent position starting September 2017. The successful candidate will be expected to teach English across KS3 and KS4.

The essential criteria for this position is:

Experience in teaching English at KS3 and KS4

UK Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)

A degree in a relevant subject

Strong behaviour management skills
