Accounts Assistant

Due to the ongoing growth of of my client we are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator now to join our existing operations and finance team.

The successful candidate will have had at least 1 years' experience within a similar accounts role. You will assist the Finance Manager in maintaining financial records, monitoring accounts and ensuring accuracy in recording financial transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be an integral part of a rapidly growing company.

Duties will include:

* Purchase ledger entry
* Reconciling supplier statements and preparing payments as required
* Processing customer receipts and statements
* Credit Control
* Updating of accounts databases and stock records
* Assisting with analysis and production of reports for Management and HMRC
* Analysing and processing monthly expenses and credit card transactions
* Assisting with month end procedures and deadlines
* Ad hoc support as needed

The successful candidate will:
* Be great at prioritising and working to strict deadlines
* Have strong attention to detail and understanding of analysing data
* Have strong excel skills and experience in accounts software
* Be adaptable and willing to learn
* Be an excellent communicator and reliable

Additional requirements:

* Experience of working with foreign currencies would be highly advantageous
* You will be required to have 3 years' + experience within accounts
* A positive attitude and flexible approach to the role would be advantageous
* Must drive a car as the office location is not accessible by public transport
* Sage 50 experience preferred but not essential (Old system)
* Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience preferred (New system)
