The Facilities Administrator will support the Local Facility and Health & Safety Manager in ensuring the grounds, buildings and
services are maintained in safe, good working order and in compliance with health, safety and environmental
legislation. In addition, the successful applicant will assist with decommissioning and closure of the site.

The role will include the following:

• Organise and manage maintenance, statutory inspections and examinations.
• Plan work of local facilities team as required.
• Respond to incoming calls and investigate issues quickly and efficiently.
• Obtain and review quotations from vendors.
• Raise purchase orders.
• Liaise with contractors to plan and progress corrective and preventative maintenance work.
• Issue permits and ensure compliance statutory and other requirements.
• Ensure that works are carried out safely, on-time and to budget.
• Maintain statutory and non-statutory records.
• Complete relevant KPI information.
• Assist with obtaining pre-construction information.
• Support site relocation and closure activities.
• Offer guidance to local facilities team.
• Deputise as Facility Manager during their absence.

The job requires the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience in facilities management or building services.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deal with all levels within the organisation and with third parties.
• Self-starter, enthusiastic and practical, with good attention to detail and able to cope under pressure.
Good Microsoft office skills
