We currently have this excellent opportunity to be a Field based Service Engineer working for a company on the up. After recently moving in to their swanky new offices they are looking at massive expansion over the coming years.

You will cover sites from around Oxford to Birmingham and be based from home with occasional visits to the Southern based offices. Kitted out with the latest gear and supported by a team of experts and back office staff will give you the ability to do what you do best, fault find and service generators and associated equipment.

We are not looking for filter changers or fitters. We need the best, people with electrical knowledge and experience working on equipment up to the customers products including switchgear and controls.

Package:

£28K - £34K Basic

Over Time paid rates

22 Days holiday

Main duties to include of Service Engineer

Service and maintenance (PPM), installation and commissioning of critical power equipment

Carry out load bank testing, site surveys, inspections and testing of generator sets

Provide breakdown response and resolution, commissioning and customer training

Provide key technical assistance as needed to internal engineering staff and customers alike

Be part of the on call rota

Required qualifications and experience:

Relevant qualifications in a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering discipline

Proven experience in servicing and maintaining generator sets

Strong analytical and fault finding skills

A team player

Self-motivated and customer-focused.

Full UK Driving Licence

Ideal Qualifications:

BS7671 (17th Edition) Wiring Regulations

Experience within critical power applications

LV Control panel and electrical distribution experience

ECS/CSCS Card
