The Company:

My client is one of the largest Engineering maintenance providers in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients across countless locations around the UK. They have recently won the contract for a high end corporate building based near Liverpool Street Station. This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers to join a forward thinking business who look to train those want to be trained and also proactively promote from within.

The Role:

We are recruiting for two static Electrical Maintenance Day Technicians to work for one of the UK's largest maintenance contractors, this position is based on a corporate office site with a high level of technology and plant such as ; BMS, UPS, Chillers, Downflow Units, Battery Banks, AHU, FCU, etc.

The Package will include a starting salary of up to £39,000 per annum plus £1650 in callout payments (1 in 4), great overtime rates, healthcare, pension other benefits such as Travel card loan and lots of training.

Successful candidates will be required to; complete scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance tasks to maintain site assets ensuring equipment is always available, to perform higher level technical fault finding and repairs, they will be responsible for performing operational checks and first line repairs of building technology systems, identify then estimate repair or project works conforming to best practice and regulations, plus complete repair/project works when delegated.

Those selected should have experience with mechanical and electrical services, fault finding and repairs to standard installations in corporate offices.

This role is based on a continental day shift pattern which involves 12 hour shiftd from 7am - 7pm;

There is a 1 in 4 callout rota with a standby rate of £125 and minimum 4 hours overtime rate charge.

This is a brand new, high end, prestigious building, so client interaction is high. The ability to communicate well and be approachable to the client consistently is very important. This site is a corporate environment so experience within similar buildings or technology will be preferred.

For the right people, training and development will be given to develop further skills and to fast-track through internal promotions going forward.
