Looking for a new job can be a tricky process. Job seekers are constantly being sold the 'next big thing' or the 'best job ever' without much substance to back it up. Job seekers are almost assaulted with poorly written job ads, essentially an amalgamation of misleading job specs and the magic of copy and paste.

The Client in question is a Global Organisation spanning the Finance, Banking and Insurance verticals and this role is a key strategic hire for them in 2017. The role will involve a mix of line management and hands on programming responsibilities with a focus on providing technical leadership on a range of issues.

You will be working closely with the Product Development Manager to ensure that coding standards and best practice (DRY, SOLID) is adhered too throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. You will also champion core Agile/Scrum processes.

The technical focus is pure Web development with a 'full stack' feel, focusing on a range of market leading Enterprise products servicing millions of customers worldwide. There will be a mix of Greenfield development using the Microsoft technologies stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL) as well as building scalable, maintainable websites with suitable API's to integrate with external systems.

In terms of culture, you would struggle to find somewhere better. Their CTO is looking to create a 'Google-feel' with their office space (whatever that means) and it includes a gym, tennis courts, on-site childcare and social areas where you can grab some food and a coffee with your colleagues!

But enough about them... this job ad is all about you and your search... more specifically, what should you be able to demonstrate on your CV?

Experience of using the following technologies:

*industry standards and best practice
*content management systems, ideally Kentico CMS
*most of the following technologies
*ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC and WebAPI
*Web services - RESTful, WCF, SOAP
*HTML5 and responsive frameworks (Foundation Zurb and Twitter Bootstrap)
*JavaScript and frameworks (jQuery, KnockoutJS, AngularJS)
*SQL Server, T-SQL
*IIS, DNS, Hosting, Cloud services such as Azure or Rackspace

So if you tick all of those boxes and are even more interested in this role then give me a shout. You can call me on either or 0720296628. Alternatively, if you are unable to chat then send me an email to .

Anything discussed will be kept completely confidential.
