Digital Communications Officer: An experienced, energetic Digital Communications Officer is required to assist the Digital Communications Manager in maximising the impact of the organisation's digital channels. Joining this not-for-profit Christian organisation, you will post, promote and monitor content across a variety of digital channels.

As the Digital Communications Officer, you will focus on creating online content to be posted across different social media channels with a particular emphasis on Facebook. The ideal Digital Communications Officer will have 1-3 years' experience and be competent with social media marketing, advertising and analytics. Graduates with a proven interest in developing a career in digital Communications / Marketing will also be considered.

*Post content to various digital channels, including: Website, Email, Social channels, Multimedia channels (e.g. YouTube, SoundCloud) and App channels (e.g. PrayerMate)
*Construct email communication products, including: Breaking news alerts, campaigning calls-to-action, news digests, and event invitations
*Report on content and channel performance - metrics and analytics
*Assist with capture, editing and posting of broadcast media clips
*Assist the Digital Communications Manager as necessary
*Improve 'story arcs' and liaise with other internal stakeholders about communication planning
*Improve consistency of messaging across channels and input into development of organisational-wide 'key messages' on core issues / cases / campaigns
*Improve testing, development and audience understanding
Skills and Experiences:
*Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience
*Proven experience copywriting in digital communications / digital marketing
*1 - 3 years' experience managing social media channels in a corporate or advocacy setting
*Exceptional written communication skills - able to tailor the organisation's messages to different audiences, provoking interest
*Excellent knowledge of web, email and social media publishing, advertising and analytics tool
*Excellent attention to detail, able to proof-read, check facts and accurately express material
*Passionate about the organisation's campaigns and legal cases, and willing to represent them
*Willing to work flexibly including working / being 'on call' out of normal office hours, from time to time

*Experience in Journalism / Marketing / PR and / or digital communications
*Experience developing new digital channels / platforms and growing online audiences
*Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products, audio / video / image editing skills, HTML, CSS and website development
