Legal Administrator ( Law Degree required )

You would ideally have a Law Degree / LPC and have a genuine interest within working for a Law firm, if this role is something that interests you and you have good Administration skills and IT literate, then please get in touch immediately. You will be required to perform paralegal administrative duties, these include serving bills, preparing part 8 forms, preparing court bundles for Detailed Assessment and Provisional Assessment hearings, chasing the court, preparing DCC’s, Detailed Assessment set downs.
o Receiving new cases, both paper and paperless, and imputing onto the CMS (Case Management System/Visualfiles) each day when received
o Opening all incoming post and DX each day when received
o Scanning and allocating post daily to the CMS
o Order couriers
o Preparing court bundles
o Scanning and allocating faxes as received
o Preparing files for courier / Royal Mail / DX
o Archiving invoiced costs files daily
o Ordering stationery once per week
o Answering phones, transferring calls and taking messages which should be saved to the CMS
o Overflow invoicing
o Paralegal administration for the teams once the above is completed
Salary £15,000 with salary reviews
22 days holiday plus bank holidays on top, sick pay, private health care and death in service.
