Telesales Property Investment Negotiator
This sales focused role is within a fast growing property investment company. This is an exciting time for our client, expanding quickly and diversifying into new markets - they currently manage three private equity and debt investment funds along with investments in house building and development. For those that do well, progression and development is very much part of the package.
The Company: This client is part of an established Property Investment group, trading in residential properties throughout the UK. This office has quickly expanded to 13 people, but expansion and diversification is ongoing, so this number is set to grow quickly.
The Role: This position deals with valued customers, assisting them with a guaranteed house sale. There is no cold calling and all sales are generated so each lead will be expecting a call to discuss their options. You will qualify and negotiate on leads from property vendors who need a guaranteed sale. You will carry out detailed valuations on UK-wide residential properties, updating the CRM and all the while being diligent with adding notes as each lead progresses. You will contribute to making a final valuation on a property before it is purchased and retain good relations with each customer, requesting a review of the service journey. This is very much a team effort, so you will participate in creative meetings to further improve how the team functions and be willing to put forward ideas.
Naturally there is a target element to the role, which currently equates to 3 properties completing per month and this is very achievable. The role works on a shift basis, three weeks per month being Mon - Fri, 9am to 6pm and one week per month working 11am to 8pm from the Monday to Thursday and again reverting back to the 9am to 6pm that Friday, so you are actually only doing the late shift four days per month. Once a month you would be expected to work a weekend and those hours would be 10am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday - for this you would get an additional days holiday in lieu per month.
Skills / Experience Required: Our client is looking for someone who is degree educated with a proven track record in closing sales deals over the phone. It is more important to have a background in telesales than having property experience as ongoing training will be provided in this area. At least 2 years sales experience is required and you should also have the following qualities - a professional telephone manner, the ability to build rapport and work under pressure, excellent attention to detail and someone with a positive attitude and an energy that contributes to an already established team.
Additional Information: Salary for this role is to £23,000 and realistic OTE of £30,000. You can also benefit from free use of an office gym, regular team building events, a monthly team outing and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and 1 extra days holiday per month in lieu as mentioned above.
