Prestige Nursing + Care are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Branch Nurse to work at our office in Northampton. The successful candidate will be highly organised and able to use their own initiative. They will be required to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Also they will be confident with the ability to instil confidence in others.

Working approx 12 hours per week based in our York Road office you will be responsible for the ongoing planning, training and monitoring of complex care packages.

Supervising a team of experienced care staff you will be responsible for providing support, advise and regular training as well as managing competencies and attending review meetings as part of the MDT.

You must have experience in the training and management of enteral feeding regimes and must be confident in assesssing others skills. Car driver with use of a car is essential.

You will report directly to the Branch Manager and can expect ongoing support from our friendly team.

Job Qualifications

* RGN/RN Grade D

Duties of the Job

* Risk Assessment and Care Planning in line with NMC guidance
* Continuous review and assessment of clinical documentation
* Assisting with the recruitment and interviewing of agency nurses
* Oversee the clinical supervisions and appraisals
* Team Lead Complex Care packages
* Appropriately matching skills and suitability of care worker/nurses to clients
* Organise and provide 1-1 training to our internal care staff i.e. Tracheostomy and PEG
* Opportunity to up-skill and develop clinical knowledge where client specific needs have been identified
* Attendance at MDT and clinical review meetings
* Share best practice and appropriate market intelligence with team colleagues to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
* Develop good clinical and business relationships with key contacts
* Attendance at clinical forums to support and develop your role
