Chase and Holland are excited to be working with an established and expanding company in Nottingham as they look to recruit a part time (24 hours a week) Purchase Ledger Clerk/Finance Assistant to carry out a fixed term contract. The role will be Purchase Ledger based, reporting in to the Financial Controller and will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. This role is perfectly suited for someone looking for a work life balance or looking for a role to fit around family commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Processing large volumes of invoices, including 3 way matching and coding.
* Ensuring all invoices are correctly authorised and processed in a timely manner
* Accurate statement reconciliations to be produced every month end, with any variances to be flagged immediately
* Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to understand cash flow positions when making payment runs
* Intercompany support to be provided to the Management accountant
* Ad hoc analysis for the Financial Controller

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience with a finance team and used to processing high volumes of Purchase Ledger invoices. You will be joining a fast paced environment so a positive and "can do" attitude is essential. The role will offer superb support for the successful candidate ensuring they have all the necessary guidance to be successful in the position. This role requires someone with a strong purchase ledger background and sharp attention to detail and will in return offer £11,700 for the hours worked.
