Exclusive opportunity for a Design Manager in Canary Wharf offering up to £73K plus Package

The Role and Project

If you are an experienced Design Manager specialising in delivering new build residential this is an opportunity not to be missed. You will be working on a Traditional build totalling 177 units and 6 Storeys. Please note this project has not yet started and is expected to run until 2020 with the company having a pipeline of work in the future.

The Company

They are a private developer and have been present in the London market since 1993. They have delivered some of London's most prestigious buildings and are continuing to make their mark in the market. They are currently delivering the tallest residential tower in London.

Responsibilities:

* Read technical drawings and be able to identify any issues.
* Participate in the design transfer from preconstruction to construction
* Check all drawings and details for accuracy and correctness
* Liaise with external consultants to ensure deadlines are met.
* Attend site visits and meetings in order to solve issues that arise during the constructions process.
* Ensure that new regulation and legislation requirements are followed
* Ability to recognise potential issues and implement strategies or overcome them
* Ensure company standard of service and delivers on time

Requirements:

* You must have good technical knowledge and experience of residential construction
* Strong communication skills and able to provide leadership
* Proven experience delivering residential schemes from pre-construction to delivery
* Own motivation and drive
* Ability to optimise projects
* Must be able to demonstrate long levity in previous companies
