The Position:

Reporting to the Head of Education, the appointed Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

Increasing our client’s market share and brand presence within schools, colleges and universities across the South of England
Developing relationships with assigned accounts and driving new business development
Building a network of contacts among central and site procurement teams and end users, both directly and via influences and specifiers
Promoting eProcurement as the primary method of placing orders
Carrying out product demonstrations and training

The Candidate:

Applicants will be required to demonstrate:

A minimum bachelor’s degree qualification
A proven track record of technology/solution-led field sales success in the education sector
Proven ability to meet revenue, profit, average order value and order frequency objectives
Self-motivation, autonomy and emotional intelligence
Proven communication, negotiation and closing skills
