The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and growing UK-based Fund Management business. We are currently looking to recruit a high potential professional to join our team. The role has the opportunity to become permanent also.

Job Title Fund Accountant (Maternity cover) - 6 - 12 Month Contract

Main Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of the role would be:

  • Timely and accurate preparation of drawdown notices
  • Performing regular cash reconciliations
  • Periodic in-depth fund reviews
  • Accurate and timely completion of fund related calculations
  • Timely and accurate preparation of fund reports
  • Investigation and resolution of internal queries
  • Manage investor queries to ensure the highest level of service
  • Identify any risks with processing and ensure that these are addressed
  • Review of overall job process with a view to further efficiencies
  • Engagement on project work within the team

Skills, qualifications and experience required

Applicants must have:

- ACA or similar professional qualification, with previous fund accounting experience or within a similar role

- Technically highly competent, with detailed knowledge of FRS

- Highly systems literate, with a background of delivering continuous improvement of financial systems

- Excellent administrative, organisational and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure

- Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and presentation skills - 2-3 years related experience.
