Holt Executive are working with a leading solutions provider in Automation and Robotic systems with their searches for a Technical Sales Engineer.

Working as the Technical Sales Engineer you will be required to provide direct sales resource to promote and sell the full range of services and equipment offered through the business.

Key Responsibilities - Technical Sales Engineer - Automation:

* Qualified to at least HNC standard in engineering
* Demonstrate successful achievement in a similar role allied to the sales of capital equipment and systems
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint software
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Robot / automation experience would be extremely advantageous
* Ability to liaise technically with customers to derive a clear understanding of their objectives with the ability to recommend solutions
* Excellent commercial awareness
* Proactive approach to source and develop business opportunities within relevant industries
* Experience in using AutoCAD would be beneficial

Key Skills required for the Technical Sales Engineer - Automation:

* The Technical Sales Engineer will work conscientiously and have a hardworking attitude
* Ability to work effectively within the existing team, and to work under own initiative
* The Technical Sales Engineer will have great communication and presentation skills
* Leadership qualities supported by similar industry experience
* The Technical Sales Engineer will come from an Automation and robotics background

Salary - £32,000 - £45,000 + benefits

Location - West Midlands
